The District of Timiskaming Social Services Administration Board Offers a Range of Programs to Help Prepare For, Obtain, and Retain Employment

Information and Referrals provides information through group or individual sessions to assist with employment planning

Employment & Income Support Programs

The following programs are open to Ontario Works recipients:

  • Employment Planning 101 – identify personal skills and interests to plan for education, training or work
  • Employment – Taking Action – create resumes and cover letters and develop job search skills
  • Job Success – learn and practice skills to help you keep and succeed in a job
  • Grey Power (50+) Program – older workers gain current skills and develop tools to find work in today's marketplace
