Building Custodian / Housing Services

Location: Kirkland Lake with coverage across the Timiskaming District
Classification: Permanent part-time, 20 hours per week

The Building Custodian is responsible for indoor and outdoor property and building maintenance for social housing buildings managed by the DTSSAB. Maintaining a positive and professional rapport with tenants, as a primary point of contact for our residents, allows the Building Custodian to be responsive and proactive to their needs. Work assignments are primarily in the North of the District, providing coverage district-wide as required. The work schedule will be approximately three (3) days per week, with coverage on an as-needed basis, providing as much advance notice as possible. This position is unionized.
